On June 10, we're welcoming Janet Hum, Intergenerational Financial Advisor, for a candid conversation about wealth, financial confidence, and the questions many of us have been afraid to ask. Together, we'll explore how to protect what we've built, grow it intentionally, and better understand the financial decisions that impact our future.


Whether you're navigating a career transition, building a business, supporting a family, planning for retirement, or simply looking to become more informed, this session is designed to provide practical guidance in a safe and supportive environment.


Because financial literacy isn't just about numbers.

Power HER Wellness



We are excited to introduce POWER HER Wellness | August 8–9


This reimagined experience is designed as an intimate wellness retreat, offering participants the opportunity to take a real step back and reconnect with themselves.


Think lavender field lunches, a hydrotherapy spa experience, and guided conversations designed to support personal growth, clarity, and alignment.

This is a space to pause, reset, and invest in becoming the best version of yourself, within a supportive and intentional community.

In May, we had the opportunity to honour AAPI Heritage Month by reflecting on the legacy of Grace Lee Boggs, a powerful voice in activism, community building, and social change.


Her work reminds us that leadership is rooted in continuous learning, collective care, and the courage to challenge and reimagine systems. As we move forward, we carry these reflections with us, grounding our own leadership journeys in purpose and community.



HER Note


A Community Milestone Worth Celebrating


This month has given me a moment to pause and reflect.


I was deeply honoured to learn that I have been nominated for the CMEE Hall of Fame in both the Mentor of the Year and The Big Idea categories, with HER Seat at the Table recognized as part of that journey.


While my name may appear on the nomination, this recognition belongs to all of us. It reflects the conversations we've shared, the relationships we've built, the support we've offered one another, and the collective belief that there is room for all of us to succeed.


Thank you to everyone who took the time to submit a nomination and to those who continue to invest in this community through your participation, encouragement, and leadership.


HER Seat at the Table has never been about one person. It has always been about creating a space where people feel seen, heard, valued, and empowered to grow.
