April 2026 | HER Collective Note
- Apr 3
- 4 min read

April arrives with a quiet sense of renewal.
As the season shifts, we are reminded that growth often begins beneath the surface, in moments of reflection, in the courage to start again, and in the intention we bring to what we are building. Spring invites us to clear space, to nurture new ideas, and to trust that even the smallest steps forward can lead to meaningful transformation.
At HER Seat at the Table, we see leadership in the same way. It is something we cultivate over time. It evolves with care, deepens through connection, and flourishes when we create environments where both people and ideas can grow.
This month, we invite you to embrace the energy of the season. To plant new seeds, to remain open to possibility, and to continue showing up for yourself and for the communities you are part of.
Community Updates

We’re excited to share that Connie Cay-Santos has been appointed to MPI Global’s Community Advisory Board, where she will be leading the Women's Community.
This opportunity reflects a continued commitment to creating spaces where voices are heard, experiences are shared, and leadership is strengthened through connection and collaboration. As this work expands globally, we look forward to bringing even more insight, advocacy, and meaningful dialogue back into the HER Seat at the Table community, supporting not only women but all those who believe in more inclusive and empowered leadership.
Circle of Trust Spotlight

We’re proud to celebrate Carly Silberstein, Founder & CEO of Cielle & Co. and Cielle Group, as part of our Circle of Trust. Carly was recently honoured with the MPI Toronto President’s Award, recognizing her leadership, impact, and continued contributions to our industry.
Her commitment to building meaningful partnerships and leading with intention reflects the values we continue to cultivate within this community. We’re grateful to have her as a trusted collaborator and a champion of thoughtful, human-centred leadership.
Upcoming Events
POP-IN Session | April 22

Our next HER Seat at the Table POP-IN Session will be co-hosted with Heather Ried, who will guide an open and engaging conversation centred on connection, perspective, and shared growth.
POP-IN Sessions are designed as intentional spaces where community members can come together to exchange ideas, reflect on their leadership journeys, and support one another in real time.
There is no expectation beyond showing up as you are. Whether you choose to share, listen, or simply be present, your voice and presence contribute to the collective experience.
For future sessions, we invite members of our community to step into co-hosting opportunities, creating space for diverse voices, perspectives, and lived experiences to shape our conversations.
We look forward to having you in the room.
Community Spotlight Event April 23: Beyond “Good” and “Bad” Foods

We invite you to support our member Luksamon Supanathaporn’s workshop, Beyond “Good” and “Bad” Foods, a 60-minute interactive experience on April 23rd, designed to shift how we think about nutrition, energy, and our relationship with food.
In this session, you will explore:
• The Stress Connection - how guilt around food can impact cortisol levels, metabolism, and overall wellbeing
• The “Fuel Match” Strategy - simple ways to balance your meals based on your daily activity, whether you are resting or active
• The Mindful Eating Experience - a guided sensory exercise to support better digestion and awareness
• The Power of Addition - practical ways to enjoy the foods you love while supporting stable energy and blood sugar
This workshop is designed for anyone looking to improve their energy, support their metabolic health, and build a more balanced, sustainable, and positive relationship with food.
We are proud to highlight and support experiences within our extended community that encourage both personal growth and well-being.
SANCTUARY at CSE Live | April 27, 2026

We invite you to join us at SANCTUARY on April 27.
SANCTUARY is a reimagined leadership and creative development experience designed for those in the events industry who are seeking more than just strategy. It is where Strategy meets Soul.
This experience invites participants to step away from the constant pace of execution and into a space of intentional reflection, creativity, and alignment.
Through guided conversations, creative exploration, and meaningful community dialogue, SANCTUARY creates the conditions for leaders to reconnect with their voice, their vision, and their sense of balance.
As we prepare for this inaugural experience, we look forward to gathering with leaders who are ready to rethink how they lead, create, and sustain success in their work.
HER Note
Spring reminds us that not all growth is immediately visible.
Some of the most meaningful transformations happen quietly, in the choices we make to begin again, to nurture what matters, and to remain patient with our own evolution.
As we move through this season, may we continue to create space for new ideas, new connections, and new ways of leading. May we support one another as we grow, and take time to recognize how far we have already come.
Thank you for being part of a community that continues to plant, nurture, and uplift.
Warmly,
Connie Cay-Santos
