Project Overview

Women in Consulting is a national, multi-city leadership program designed to bring consulting professionals together around connection, confidence, and career growth. Delivered across five Canadian cities through a seven-week engagement, the initiative required strong stakeholder alignment, consistent execution, and seamless logistics to maintain a unified experience nationwide.

Scope of Work

  • End-to-end event management and logistics across five cities

  • Seven-week engagement with direct integration into weekly client stakeholder meetings

  • Venue layout and floor plan recommendations to support flow and engagement

  • Technical coordination with AV teams

  • Catering planning, ordering, and budget management for lunch and cocktail receptions

  • Sourcing and coordination of gifting aligned to program theme and messaging

  • Development of detailed run of show aligned to agenda and content

  • Identification of critical milestones and execution roles for volunteers and leaders

  • On-site execution leadership in Toronto, including real-time schedule management

How I Lead the Project

I served as the dedicated event management and logistics lead for Women in Consulting, embedding directly into the client’s weekly planning cadence to ensure alignment across all stakeholders.

My leadership focused on consistency, clarity, and calm execution across five cities. I translated strategy and content developed by the internal team into detailed, executable plans—ensuring venues, partners, volunteers, and technical teams were aligned and prepared.

In Toronto, I acted as the primary on-site point of contact, managing timing, transitions, and live decision-making to keep the program on track. Across all markets, I ensured brand consistency and experience quality while adapting to local execution needs.

Impact & Why It Matters

  • Delivered a cohesive national Women in Consulting experience across five cities

  • Registration exceeded initial projections by 40%+, reflecting strong resonance with the program theme

  • Maintained F&B spend within budget across all locations

  • Ensured consistent brand and experience standards across geographically distributed markets

  • Supported leaders and volunteers with clear roles, timelines, and execution tools

  • Received positive client feedback on creative simplicity, operational leadership, and reliability

A signature moment included the yellow rose pin, intentionally selected to symbolize connection, confidence, and commitment—an understated detail that reinforced the program’s purpose.
