Project Overview

Project Phoenix was an accelerated product initiative to design, build, and launch LiveX, a branded digital experience platform created to bridge the gap between high-cost, fully custom virtual environments and scalable, self-serve event solutions.

LiveX was developed to empower event organizers with enterprise-level capabilities without enterprise-level development costs while maintaining a seamless, engaging attendee experience across virtual and hybrid formats.

Scope of Work

Led product visioning, experience strategy, and MVP delivery for the LiveX digital experience platform, guiding cross-functional teams across product, engineering, and DevOps.

Defined and prioritized core platform features, ensured UX/UI decisions reflected real-world event workflows, and positioned LiveX as a scalable, cost-effective alternative to fully custom virtual builds.

Oversaw the creation and execution of the LiveNOW global launch event to validate platform capabilities through real-world, large-scale adoption.

How I Lead the Project

As Vice President of Special Projects at Nextech AR, I co-led Project Phoenix alongside senior development leadership, serving as experience strategist and industry lead for the LiveX product brand.

I guided UX/UI and product teams using real-world event workflows to shape design decisions, and partnered with product and engineering to define and prioritize an MVP that balanced scalability, usability, and speed to market.

Leading a 23-person cross-functional team, I aligned vision, timelines, and delivery, translating industry insight into market-ready solutions within an accelerated 45-day build window.

LiveX launched as a standalone product brand under Nextech AR, with an MVP delivered in 45 days, accelerating time-to-market.

The LiveNOW launch engaged 800+ global attendees, delivered keynote-led programming at scale, and positioned LiveX as a cost-effective alternative to $150K+ custom virtual builds, strengthening Nextech AR’s leadership in virtual and hybrid experience technology.
