Connie is the Founder and Chief Experience Strategist at CAY VII, which launched in January 2019 and was Incorporated into CAY VII INC in November 2022. She takes a creative entrepreneur approach to accepting special project contracts with clients to consult and drive strategic actions to deliver the business vision and objectives. 

CAY VII INC represents Connie Cay-Santos as the seventh child in her Cay Family. Her given Chinese name is Phoenix! 


As an event industry leader, Connie is recognized as a Mentor,  Industry Volunteer of the Year by Canadian Special Events, listed on the Women to Watch 2023, Bizzabo's Top 55 2022 Event Experience Leaders, and honoured as the 2021 Future Leader of the Year by MPI TO Chapter. 

Connie Cay-Santos has over 20 years of professional management experience and has thrived in corporate, association, and tech start-up entrepreneurial environments. She curates strategic partnerships and builds trust through a human-centric approach, operational excellence, and creative experience design solutions. 

Be Human first is a mindful consideration when Connie leads a project with clients or a team. With high emotional agility in understanding her stakeholders' motivational drivers, she is empowered to create a more connected experience through engagement strategies and share authentic stories on social channels.


In September 2022, Connie joined Quest Audio Visual in a contracted role as Director of Engagement Strategy, where she was responsible for rebranding and positioning Quest AV as a trusted AV Partner through strategic marketing, launching a new website, and leading the engagement design of exhibition events.   In May 2023, she was thrilled to be appointed to a full-time position as Senior Director of Growth and Engagement, where she now leads the sales executive and marketing team to develop and act on the strategic growth and engagement plans to drive further relationship and revenue growth powered by Quest AV's reputation as a trusted audio-visual innovator and premium event production company. 


In her past position as Head of Strategic Partnerships at Engamio, Connie established and maintained trusted relationships with B2B clients in the current event ecosystem. Stakeholders include a community of event tech platforms, AV Production companies, Media Partners, and associations while supporting co-marketing collaborations and B2C client service needs.

As a community builder and supporter, Connie is also actively involved in industry associations and communities, which include:
